STC President Dave Osiecki was recently featured in a Freightwaves article about the FMCSA’s recent proposal to extend its Medical Examiner’s Certification Integration deadline from June 22 of this year to June 23, 2025. Osiecki stated that the cause of the delay is the failure of the government to electronically connect with the country’s 50 state motor vehicle departments (DMVs) and drivers will need to continue submitting their medical card to state licensing agencies in the interim.
