STC VP P. Sean Garney’s comments from his April 13th SleepSafe Drivers’ webinar panel appearance on the past, present, and future of sleep apnea regulations were included in a recent Overdrive Magazine article. Garney stated that while FMCSA first started to take the topic seriously in 2000, and has seen slow progress since, he expects it to be something that moves forward to (potentially) the rulemaking stages under the Biden Administration.
